After growing up in the family's successful automotive parts and accessories business, it was only natural that Suzanne would become an entrepreneur. With a sharp business sense and a love of fine paper and gifts, Suzanne opened a small shop called Notables in 1986. Notables quickly became a local favorite for its unique selection of cards, gift items and invitations. In the late 1990s, Suzanne expanded Notables' invitation service, offering custom invitations that are now a staple of the business. In 2005, after nearly 19 years in the original store, Suzanne moved Notables to its current location in Edmonton's prestigious High Street block. Suzanne and her husband Ted enjoy triathlon, horseback riding, and deep sea diving. Their two dogs, Chela and Chloe, are customer favorites.

"Not knowing what new project each day will bring makes my job very satisfying. The diversity of working with everything from wedding invitations to business and calling cards, stationery sets to advertisements and flyers means there is always something new and fun to do."

"However, I think that the best part of my job would have to be designing wedding invitations. It is wonderful knowing that I can help to make one of the most special days in a couple's life even better by making their vision become a reality."

"I feel lucky to have the opportunity to work with such a wonderful team, in a beautiful store with gorgeous papers, and on fun and challenging projects."
